Regional Account Manager – MENA & India regions



Street Crane is the UK’s largest producer of overhead cranes and one of the world’s volume hoist manufacturers. With more than 100 distributors globally, our export business continues to grow and we are now looking to appoint an experienced Account Manager for our Middle East, North Africa, & India territories. This will involve, but not be limited to, managing our existing distributor network, developing new business, and strengthening our overall position in the market.


  • Responsible for all sales activities throughout MENA & India
  • Achieve quarterly sales targets to meet growth plans for the region
  • Produce quotations and deliver sales presentations as required
  • Manage the distributor networks with regular online or face-to-face meetings, deliver sales & product training, and participate at exhibitions and trade shows where required
  • Build strong and lasting personal and professional relationships with distributors
  • Review each territory to understand our position in the market and identify ways to improve it
  • Adopt a strategic and targeted approach to seeking out and developing new business
  • Maintain a close understanding of competitor activity, products, and pricing
  • Work alongside Business Manager & Marketing Manager to implement effective marketing campaigns and increase brand awareness in the region
  • Communicate regularly with the Business Manager to provide accurate order forecasts, discuss new business opportunities and market trends
  • Act as an ambassador for the company with a professional & positive approach to all aspects of the role


  • Minimum 3 years field-based technical sales experience
  • Experience selling through distribution networks is desirable
  • Customer-focused with the ability to build relationships at all levels
  • Commercially aware and effective negotiator
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good time management with the ability to manage a busy workload
  • Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
  • Determined and resilient character


  • Regular travel is required within the sales territory
